Energy Assessor Manchester

Selling your house? Government legislation means you will almost certainly need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) as part of the compulsory new Home Information Packs (HIPS).

Our business has been specifically set-up to provide EPC’s, mainly in the south Manchester and Trafford areas, providing a service to the owners of property of all sizes, from the smallest flat to the largest family home.

We are totally independent, unlike many EPC providers who are part of large chains of estate agents and solicitors, and committed to giving you a speedy and impartial service. Many local estate agents are, however, aware of the service we offer and may refer you to us.

We are also able to advise on a wide range of energy matters - from solar power and photo-voltaic cells - to how a few simple energy saving measures could save you hundreds of pounds a year.

After your initial inquiry we will be able to tell you whether your property falls within the law requiring production of a certificate - not all do, but the exceptions are few.

If you wish to go ahead we can make an appointment for a qualified and accredited Domestic Energy Assessor to visit your property and provide the certificate within three working days.

To produce the certificate the inspector will measure the overall dimensions of your house or flat, and need access to all rooms to examine the windows, boiler, heating appliances, electric and gas meters and the loft or cellar space. All give vital indications to ascertain how well your house is performing - and how much money you may be wasting.
