Using sophisticated Government approved software this will enable us to produce the EPC telling you just how efficient your home is - or is not. It will give you an average cost per square metre of heating and lighting and fuel usage in your home and will compute an overall efficiency rating.
The certificate will tell you where your home is now in terms of energy efficiency, and its impact on the environment, and will suggest ways to improve it’s performance.
It does not, however, assess the condition of your property, any structural problems it may have, or any faults that may exist in the heating and lighting equipment. For the purposes of the EPC it is assumed that everything is in normal working condition and buyers MUST take separate expert advice on all energy systems within the home.
The certificates were introduced as part of the Government's commitment to reduce greenhouse gases.
